Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend this weekend. We chose the "menu découverte", and were really happy with all of the 6 courses of the meal. Quail, smoked trout, foie gras, pork, etc. with matched wine selection for each course. Of course, the meal is expensive : over 300$ for 2 with the wine. It surely is worth your... More

We were staying a the l'eau à la Bouche hotel for 3 nights and we had 3 dinners at L'eau à la Bouche Restaurant, à la carte dinners are very good. Don't try to find cheap wines, they only have very good wines starting at $50.00 per bottle. The "menu découverte" is pricy and very long, at least 3 hours,... More

We ate at the restaurant both Wednesday and Thursday night this week. We would rate it among the best 5 or so meals we have ever eaten (and we travel extensively). The preparation was excellent (we did not order the Discovery menu since I have food allergies that conflicted with the menu) and the service suburb. We felt that the... More

Nothing (good) to write home about. Very disappointing visually and can someone remind me how they got their reputation as being one of the best? Must have been a long time ago. Like some of the other reviewers, there are many other restaurants serving French cuisine that easily beat this place and for far less $$$. More

After hearing so much about this restaurant we decided to try it for my girlfriends birthday. The appetizers( grilled jumbo shrimps and scallops tartar) were the best part of our meal. For the main course I opted for the Scallops, the plate I was served was a work of art, but the flavor combination did not work at all. My... More

Diner there this Saturday February 27th, 6PM Went with the multiple course discovery menu: Some items from it consisted of -Wild mushroom/chives/creme fraiche potage: evenly seasoned, not too creamy not too light, enjoyably slightly peppery with the chives adding a nice touch to the earthiness of the whole potage. Welcoming refreshing touch from the crème fraiche. Good. 8/10 -Smoked trout... More

While this is supposed to be a very good restaurant, I have to say that I was disapointed. First, the location is no impressive. In fact, I could not imagine this was the right place. Secondly, the food is good but not to the level I would expect for such high-end restaurant. The service was excellent. More
