We went to get lunch at the bakery as it was reccomended by a hotel restaurant directory. There was one other table of about six people at the bakery at the time. We ordered a reuben and a wrap. There was a women preparing sandwiches and a girl at the till. We had our coffee and waited for 20 minutes noticing... More

This place is great if you're looking for a quick place to grab a gluten free breakfast. The folks here are very friendly and make a tasty breakfast sandwich on gluten free english muffins. These aren't easy to come by folks! Can't say much about the rest of the baking but it sure smells good! The only thing I'd encourage... More

Bought a number of items including lemon dream slice, fergasa buns and cinnamon bread. All were fresh and very tasty. Good parking right outside the door. There is also a small restaurant in the bakery serving sandwiches which we did not try.

They renovated this summer, and it looks nice. Do enjoy the bread and the staff. Always smells good to me, reminds me of Jacksons bakery that used to be on main street, always smelled and tasted great.

We stopped in for lunch and each of us had soup and we shared a sandwich. The bread was very fresh and full of flavour. The filling was also from fresh ingredients, prepared in front of us. No complaints. We enjoyed the lunch so much we dropped back later for a coffee and snack, and took home a loaf of... More

I recently stopped at this newly renovated small bakery for coffee and a snack. The special was waffles and stawberries so all four of us ordered them. (actually "it" as there was only one) Sadly, the whipped cream was some type of hydrogenated oil product, no maple syrup, only a peel back packet of "pancake syrup" and when we requested... More

Stopped for lunch while driving through town as it is convenient on highway 17. Enjoyed a real roast beef sandwich in fresh marble bread - yum! Hubby had the all-day breakfast waffle. Also made from scratch in front of us and fresh, with fresh strawberries. Staff was very friendly. Also bought well-priced apple-cinnamon bread and cheese buns to enjoy later.... More

The bread here has always been great (try the Marble Rye or the Heartland), but the cupcakes and apple crumble have really amped things up! Love the crumble and it's as good as any homemade that I've tried. If your hungry in the morning, ask for one of their breakfast bagels. They're pretty awesome too!

The bread at the bakery is always good, but the apple crumble is amazing! Definately comparable to home made!
