Rainbow is a downtown staple, and the go-to destination for Caribbean take-out. They do also have a small seating area. Service is cafeteria-style, and not overly friendly, but the food is excellent.

Been walking by the restaurant for months, finally stopped in. One of my better decisions. I tried the curried goat, which was very tasty. It came with rice and peas, plantain and a side salad, all for $11. Will keep you full for a long time. I will definitely be back to try the ox tail.

I've been eating here for years, and I don't see myself getting tired of it anytime soon. Love the chicken roti, love the ackee & codfish...really I just love the entire menu. The atmosphere is relaxed, and although the decor is standard cafeteria style it feels comfortable and homey. I look forward to eating here for years to come.

What a pleasant surprise to find this cafeteria-style Caribbean restaurant in downtown Kitchener! Curries, rotis, patties and many other specialties are filling and tasty. Reasonably priced for what seems to be all homemade food that will stick to your ribs all day. I didn't try the patties, but the woman behind me ordered two dozen, so they must be good!

They have the best patties in Ontario. The cheese bread tastes exactly like the ones you get right off the beach in Jamaica. The restaurant is cozy and the service is slow, but the food is amazing. They even made me a special order of callalou last time I was in. I'm going to miss this place!!

Best Carribean Food in Kitchener. Very slow service.I guess thats typical carribean peole ..little chilled out ;-) Anyways food is great. Try their Ginger Beer for drink. Price is cheap so cant complain about anything.
