Schnitzel any way you can imagine it being served, they will prepare it for you here. Dumpling soup like Grandma used to make, and awesome pan fried potatoes.

After reading all the reviews, I was so looking forward to this much raved about soup and this wonderful shnitzel, especially on a cold and rainy January day
Unfortuneatly my soup was not hot enough and way too salty.
The shnitzel had been cooked beforehand, and was rather dry. The potatoes were not very exciting and too salty. The cabbage,as...

My family and I have been going here for years (most recently, last week). The food is ALWAYS amazing....the service can be slow sometimes, but the waitresses are very friendly, and the food is definitely worth the wait. I usually get the malaspina schnitzel (lunch size with spatzel). Perfectly breaded schnitzel stuffed with smoked salmon and cheese, topped with a...

This is the best place for German food. Especially Schitzel.
Went on a cool rainy Friday for lunch. We were first to arrive and the place was freezing cold. The decor was from the 80's and desperately in need of some updating. If you love schnitzel then come try this place because that is about all you can order. We were hoping they had some other german dishes but it...

Wonderful little restaurant specializing in schnitzel. I had schnitzel stuffed with cheese and ham, crunchy on the outside. Yum. My wife had schnitzel with a mushroom sauce, also delicious. My wife loved the authentic strudel for dessert, and I enjoyed a raspberry-filled ice-cream covered in a white chocolate shell that was just wonderful and different. Staff was busy while we...

Delicious food! Cute little restaurant with a great location on Lonsdale. Best schnitzel I've ever had!!
It was probably the first time to me to eat German food. I didn't even know what Schnitzel was. Asking my co-workers, it seems similar to Japanese cutlet. I ordered Nierstein Schnitzel, which is served shrimp with cream sauce. Ow, it was so good! What a comfort food. I would go again. (Visited and reviewed on Nov 2009)
