I recently tried the fish taco at this place at the urging of my wife. She has travelled alot in Mexico and other Latin countries and she said this was a taco like she use to have when she was in Mexico that you would get at one of the taco stands. I tried it and I too have to... More

Tacos and coffee? Why not, when both are made with such attention to tastiness? The tacos are the standout, and if we could, we would eat here on every visit to Vancouver. They outshine many of the dishes at more established restaurants nearby. My favorite was the tamale taco, which was flavorful, healthy and everything an afternoon snack should be.... More

this place is a coffee shop, taco shop and art gallery...all in one. They do all 3 quite well too! Get a taco and a capuccino for dessert!

A coworker introduced to this place to me today for lunch. I work nearby but never knew this was here. I was intrigued by the promise of fish tacos for lunch. When we got there, I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. Its a casual restaurant that serves good coffee and 'everyday tacos'. Let me tell you that the tacos... More

There are many options for free trade coffee, and the barrister is also patient enough to explain the differences between the various preparations. Great setting whether you need a quick coffee, or you are there with your family (there's a kids' corner).

This little gem is a terrific find for those looking for a coffee place that's a little out of the ordinary. With an eclectic selection of chairs and funky art, it is an interesting gathering place. The very innovative lunch menu is intriguing ... I must go there for a meal sometime; it's always coffee! Their non-fat latte is the... More

We breakfasted at the Cafe for Contemporary Art during a stay at the Pinnacle Hotel. This unusual combination of a coffee house and gallery is on the main street (Esplanade), about a half-block east of Lonsdale. The staff were extremely cordial and were dealing mostly with regular customers; but they gave us their full attention. We had breakfast panini (yes... More

Love this eclectic gem of a cafe with easy access to the seabus in North Vancouver. Best coffee in town, poured and cared for by creative, warm, interesting staff who know what they are doing. The owner is very supportive to artists and is committed to the comunity. Attracts a steady and regular stream of locals and artists and local... More

The food is all made in house and DELICIOUS! From the quiches, to paninis, muffins and cookies -melt in your mouth -tasty! My fav - almond milk lattes...hard to find almond milk and they don't used the sweetened variety -double plus. Laid back employees, healthy alternatives to the other coffee chain's food AND you get the added bonus of continually... More
