I was on Clare Island (August 10) and promised myself afternoon tea and cake at Anna's Tea Shop after the walk round. It was recommended to me by the lady in the tourist information centre. She said the apple cake was not to be missed.
I can honestly say I was not disappointed except there was no apple cake left...
