Visited about 5pm on a weekday because it was the only place I knew of in the general area that might still serve coffee! Elderly guest was treated right royally and received her coffee without any bother, even though the staff were laying tables for dinner and serving others with wine and snacks. Speaking of wine, a good selection by... More

Hubby and I did breakfast one Saturday morning - very busy but the staff have definitely improved from the first time we went. Happy and attentive, it was a pleasure to go there.

Had dinner with eight friends at Urban Pantry-Manuka. We all had a great experience. Service was very prompt. We all enjoyed our meals- good size and great variety on menu. Service was very attentive, restaurant was fully booked, however no delays experienced. Reasonably priced, on a par with similar restaurants in Canberra. For those from interstate you will find eating... More

With different friends went twice in two weeks to Urban Pantry in MANUKA. Everything was good, food, service and location. No matter what time it is the restaurant is always packed.

Our group took six different choices for lunch, and they all were poor to just average, served in stingy portions. The menu was interesting but the execution was consistently tired and boring. The location is lovely, the service is good and the price is rather high for a cafe. A disappointing experience.

Went to the one in New Acton, not Griffith. Loved this place though, and the coffee was delicious. Will definitely be back when next in Canberra.

I agree with Whitefox. We found it cold, cramped, and only average food/coffee.

We ate breakfast, early on a weekend. The decor is cafe style, and indoors as fairly crammed with tables. Ours was squished up against the door, near the open air entrance to the area outdoors (which was not too bad but a little on the cold side!). My partner and I both had free range eggs on toast, which were... More

The big breakfast is good. The restaurant is very busy. The waitresses are very helpful and competent. The speed of service. Is excellent considering the number of customers. We ate there both mornings of our 2 night visit and we were in a hurry.

It was a surprisingly cold late summer's night in Canberra and the heaters in the outside annex were working overtime as a chill breeze swept under the plastic flaps that were the only protection from the elements. This called for a warm bowl of house soup, and the rich pumpkin helped a lot. Not quite up to my wife's standard;... More
