Hands down the best breakfast restaurant in the colonial center of Campeche: great omelettes, delicious pound cake-like bread, well brewed coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, good and friendly service, warm, well decorated atmosphere, reasonable prices. What more could one want?
My wife and I went for dinner to Luz de Luna tonight and the food was very good! The soup was hot and tasty and the Fajitas were just fantastic and fresh. Best of all, the atmosphere was unusually cozy, thanks to the great decoration that you won't find anywhere else. Unlike some larger restaurants, this place is very unique...

...which I have to say we weren't! I think they were experiencing some staffing problems when we went. Anyway nice little restaurant with great breakfasts. They also do lunches and I think dinners though maybe not every evening.Very friendly and cosy atmosphere.
After reading reviews, we tried Luz de Luna & were not disappointed. Big breakfasts, fresh fruit, good lunch selection, all wonderful meals. We will definitely come back if we are in the vicinity.

We had lunch here during our stay in Campeche. The food was very good, fresh and well prepared. We had chicken with cheese tacos and a beef berito both accompanied by a crisp green salad both in the £3.50/£4 price range. Note there is no alcohol licence but we had a glass each of lemonade and orangeade both made from...

We stumbled across this cozy little restaurant as we were walking the lovely streets of Campeche. We choose the special of the day which was excellent. The tamales were the best we have ever had. The service was also top notch and the owner makes you feel very welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant. R & D Michigan, USA
