We went to Alberto's on our last night in Senggigi and wish we would have come earlier. What a beautiful location right on the beach with tasteful interior design. As my boyfriend said, someone who understands Lombok and brought out the best in it designed this place. We missed sunset but can imagine how spectacular it must be from this...

Recently tried Alberto's twice while staying at Sunset House, barely a hundred metres away down the beach. We selected bruschetta and pizza from the Italian fare on the first night and were pleasantly surprised to find both were very good, with a nice balance of flavours and a particularly nice lightly-crusted base to the pizza. We had a lunch here, some of us went swimming in the sea the waves were high and caused some fun, there is also a pool available for diners to use. The lunch was good.
The Italian pizza is cheap and delicious. The environment is peaceful and beautiful. The Cafe provide free flow of tea and coffee.
The atmosphere is very nice!! In the beach...very romantic! But food is so so, the fish was terrible, we couldn't even eat it! So I love only the place, not the food.
The place has a potential and all right features to be a stunning beach club on Senggigi Beach. The beach is 2 metres away, swimming pool is well designed, restaurant/bar area has good ambiance, location is convenient from Senggigi centre...But food was a complete disaster. My memory escapes me now, but we had couple of pastas, few starters, etc between...

Only thing I would suggest is that having an italian focus, the wine by the glass should be italian and not that awful balinese syrup (wine).
Bad Pasta, bad Prawns, bad service and bad wi-fi... Oh- really bad cocktails! Pretty expensive place and we expected more! Just don't bother- plenty of better local places to try, for the same money you can eat at the Resorts, Jeeva, Quinci etc.
my husband and i went the other day and each ordered a pasta dish. the service was very nice, although the drinks took a very long time to come out. we were both very happy with our food, especially the sauce to pasta ratio which often leaves a lot to be desired. we were recommended this place and in turn,...
