Four of us visited on a midweek after a day snowboarding in Tahoe. The restaurant was about half full when we entered. Unfortunately our initial experiences were very negative. Great place for kids especially. You hand pick your food. Then you watch the chefs do tricks while they cook your meal. All you can eat and was under 20 usd each.

Pick your own raw meats and vegetables and watch as they're cooked in front of you. I though the price was reasonable and the food was great. Its not cheap, but in Tahoe, Ive paid more for less.

This is a really good, fun and clean establishment. The food is cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a hot plate while you watch. We have enjoyed Fire and Ice numerous times over the years. Good atmosphere inside and out (fun fire pits). However we have had issues getting drinks from our waitresses. In a place that is essentially a buffet, at least the drinks shouldn't be an issue. We will still look forward to going next time!
