My first time to Mr. Riso's and the experience is wonderful. Al the waiter has been top notch. He is entertaining and makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. I had the special which was ribs and shrimp and it was excellent. I have been coming to Saskatoon for 12 years and have never been here before.... More

We have been going to Mr Rizzo's a few times a year for the last 14yrs but have no plans to return based on our last visit in the fall. I order the same thing each time I go as I love it so much, so once again I ordered the veal oscar, I was so disappointed, each bite I... More

PLEASE bring some class back! Have a dress code! Our last visit during the ccma's saw people dressed worse than fast food clientele! We expect an upscale environment for a $400 dinner!

Amazing food, great service until we were rudely told after our meal with half our wine glass left to drink and a bill of $350.00 "this table is needed now!" We were embarrassed and forced to leave.

As others have said, you must suspend judgement when you approach the motel that houses Mr. Rizo's. Yet I was still surprised when we entered this contemporary take on a steak house. Frank Sinatra was crooning when we wandered in. The food was fabulous, traditional steak house fare. Our waiter, Christopher Lloyd, was fun and struck the right notes in... More

The headline pretty much say it all. You have to suspend your skepticism as you approach this place through a questionable neighborhood, but once safely inside, the food and service are just perfect. Be sure to save room at the end of your memorable meal for a "Captain's Coffee". Superb!

We were in Saskatoon a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to go to Mr. Rizo's. Our meal and the service was fantastic. I was a little sceptical as it in a rather dicey neighbourhood attached to an old motel, but it was well worth it. The restaurant is tiny and the decor dated and a little shabby, but... More

There was nothing to dislike about this restaurant. The service was top notch, the food fresh and well prepared. I had the rib special available three days a week, and it included soup and salad. The soup was perfection, as was the salad. The bread was freshly baked, just for us. Our waiter was as attentive and friendly as any... More
