I am a sushi lover, so I tried this place, the food is good, the sushi quality is very acceptable, but the portions are really small, also the price I paid was too high for a regular dinner. The waitress seemed to be distracted and the bill had some errors, not sure I would return there.

Sushi was freshly made and when we requested some special orders, they were only too happy to accommodate our requests. Very good service, very good all round. Will definitely return when next in Regina.

Great location downtown, lots of tatami rooms, but the attration is the excellent Japanese cuisine - all the sushi, tempura, warm and cold sake is top notch.

Tried traditional dining and ordered Box B on the menu. This gave us a sampling of a variety of items. We went into a semi private area and took off our shoes, sat on cushions and enjoyed our meal. Amazing food, good service.. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Parking can be quite terrible seeing as they are in the middle of downtown, but after 6 it's free so 15 minute loading zones are open to anyone! I'd recommend the black sesame ice cream for dessert as it has a unique and delightful taste.

We continue to come back here for sushi. There is a reason that this place wins best sushi in Regina, year after year. The Octopus Sunomono is fantastic.

We visited Michi, our first Regina restaurant, yesterday. The Agedashi tofu had a nice flavor and proper contrasting consistency. Sunomono had a vinegary pep and they used small, Asian cucumbers, a nice touch, as the slivers remain crispy (American cucumbers become soggy). We always go to Michi's when in Regina for the most authentic Japanese meal around. Their sushi is fresh and well prepared; their cooked dishes are tasty and appealing. Recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
