This is in no way a bad restaurant but neither is it any better than OK. The curries were a little bland but portion size was good. Service was good though why they insist you use the same knife and fork for each course is beyond me. Prices were reasonable. Would not be in any way concerned if eating here... More

We had tried several much more expensive Indian restaurants in Montreal, but nothing compare to this place. Yes it is ghetto and cheesy, but the food is incredible, fresh and made with love. The prices are just right, it usually costs us about 25$ for the both of us. The butter chicken is excellent, especially if you like it on... More

The food was ok, but very over priced. The service was good and the location is nice since it is in the heart of the English speaking section.

Butter chicken is a bit too sweet for my taste but all the other dishes are excellent, very fresh and tasty. Try the shrimp dishes: big, fresh and juicy shrimps. Dal an mulligatawny soups are delicious and light with a slice of fresh lemon. Nan is simply the best, hot and buttery. Don't be repulsed by the seedy exterior and... More

We recently ordered take-out food from here ...food was decent...everything was a bit sweet...but good bread and great value! Ambience wasn't that great...so consider takeout.

This is one of those quirky, cheap Indian restaurants that is hard to find anymore (except maybe in Parc Extension). The food tastes as though it's homemade by the matriarch of the family. And I believe it is! We go there or pick up there regularly, for over 2 years now. The food is delicious & it is inexpensive. My... More

Simply the best indian food I had in a long time and so cheap! My favorite is the Chicken Dansak (sweet-sour-spicy) but the Butter and Korma chickens are succulent as well. To begin, as an apetizer, try the Vegetable Pakuras (deep fried slice of diferent veggies). Don't juge by the decoration (the odd colors, the checker F1 flags...). Here, you... More

An unforgettable experience! The interior decoration is all over the place with the checker flags and random paintings. The exterior doesn't incite to get in. And sometimes, communication might be hard. However, I can't help but returning over and over because it is some of the best indian food ever and it is rather inexpensive. Dare: Go in the toilets.
