I always say that in Montreal we have either great restaurants or horrible ones,I was proven wrong while coming to 'Les con servent`'. It was just OK, food was undercooked or underseasoned or both, not worth the money nor my time, I will not recommend it.

Went on a friday night, had the special - fish & chips. Fries were bland, fish was OK but batter was not at all crispy. Started with the venison tartar, which was also very middle of the road. Menu needs more originality and quality. Service was good but not outstanding. In short, very average.

Very good contemporary French and local food. Excellent and extremely friendly and helpful service. Interesting atmosphere. This is a great place to enjoy a nice meal with friends or your significant other. Unfortunately, the restaurant is located on trashy and busy (in a bad way) Papineau Street (but this shouldn't stop you !)

After 3 visits to "Les Cons Servent" I can definitely say that this is one of my favorite places for a great dinner in Montreal. Tasteful and creative, the menu changes periodically which makes for great dicoveries every time.
