The Food and Service was exellent ; we had a great Dinner and we had plenty varietys of food to chose from.

We had a very nice meal at Strega. I had the chicken in a mushroom cream sauce - the sauce was excellent. For starters I chose a caprese salad. The pesto in the salad was a really nice touch. Service was attentive, and prices very reasonable. I would return.

I've been visiting this restaurants for many years and the quality of the food stays the same and the price didn't go up. Great pasta, great service and awesome kitsch music.

We love this place and come here everytime we visit Montreal. The decor is festive and warm, the staff polite and friendly, and the food is no nonsense and flavorful. There is always a nice energetic buzz....we always have a satisfying, delicious and affordable meal here.

I visit Montreal 2-3 times each year, and have always looked forward to one or more evenings at La Strega. We're always greeted warmly and promptly at the door, and the specials are always pointed out when seated. The seating can be a bit cramped when they're busy, but that adds rather than detracts from the feel of the place.... More

another italian favourite in the "villege" on eue ste cathariines est offers a three course meal for under cad15.00. wine is reasonable, the food a selection of good choises and a staff that are busy, but do not rush you. the good thing about summer is the patio out front. good food and the street to watch -- what more... We ate dinner here and returned two nights later. Good Italian food, decently priced. For English speaking visitors, the staff is bilingual and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I travel to Montreal twice a year and always have dinner at La Strega. Their food is great and the prices are moderate compared to the amount of food you get. Good wine list and service is good, but sometimes slow.
