It gets booked up on weekends, so it's best to reserve. We arrived a bit before opening and were lucky to get a table. Brunch menu includes egg dishes like omelet (with duck!) and Eggs Benedict (with ham, cheese, spinach..) and more lunch-like options of fish, and a bavette steak with house fries ..all are quite good, very reasonably priced... This is my favorite spot in the city to have lunch. It's on the top floor of the Pointe a Calliere museum, a very modern building, overlooking the port. In the summer, there are tables for two out along a very narrow terrace. Lunches are 3-course Table d'hote and very reasonable. Great service.

We arrived just as the restaurant was opening, so it was nice and quiet. The waiter, Guy, was a riot and trilingual to boot. We had the eggs Benedict (good) and I had the venison burger (great). Nice way to start the day at the museum.

Enjoyed an extravagant lunch here one rainy Saturday afternoon. It is worth seeking out this restaurant in Old Montreal. While at first glance it was not what we expected the food was delicious and the service excellant. While it appears the prices have gone up - L'Arrivage is extremely good value especially for Old Montreal. This is the only place... More

I had such a great meal! The food was more than alright and the French-accended English of the waiter was just lovely. If you don't go there for the food, come for the view. I am pretty sure I saw Donald Trump's yacht from here.

We arrived at the restaurant a Sunday and it was 12h45; the restaurant was only half full. Two men were in front of us and the person at the entrance of the restaurant asked if they got a reservation and they said no. He looked at is book and said it will take 5 min. Then he sees us and... More

We were stunned by how good L'arrivage was when we first found it by chance four years ago. Alas, our most recent visit was a disppointment on both the service and food fronts. Little help from servers with simple special requests ("Can I have a salad a la carte?), odd portions (one of us received only half a salad when... More

We visited L'Arrivage based upon Trip Advisors' recommendations, and we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful day and we sat out on the balcony looking toward the river. The food was sooo good, and our waiter was attentive and helpful. It was a superb experience in all ways. I think it would be good to make reservations which we... More

You will need reservations and by phone only. I called from US and a young man with charming French accent returned my call within an hour. Seated promptly, brief menu, great food. Two of us had the special: medallions of veal incl. started choice beet soup (superb) and duck confit rillets (special). Great bread. Our waiter had an attitude toward... More

The museum cafe has some of the best food around. Period. Egg souffle with duck confit and mushrooms accompanied by a puree of celery root and a mixed green salad with maple syrup dressing is what I had and it was absolutely first rate. They nicely suggest wines of the menu that go well with your dish and the suggestion... More
