We had lunch there recently and had a great time. The restaurant is bright and airy with a clean, modern design; elegant yet casual. Tables were spaced well and you had a good view of everything & everyone. The servers always came by with a smile. Our food was good but not spectacular except for the pasta dish with duck... More

C5 (fifth floor in the Royal Ontario Museum) should be cold with its stark black and white decor. Instead, the skylights and windows open up the space to both the sun and a fine view; and the food and service enhance the warmth. The well-developed lunch menu has interesting choices for small to larger appetites and all is beautifully presented... More

Had lunch here when we spent the day at the ROM 3 weeks ago. We ordered the charcuterie plate for appetizer, hubby had the salmon (dry), I had the parpadelle w duck confit (good). The dessert platter was quite enjoyable. Service was prompt & courteous. We got the window seat we requested. Nothing bad to say abt the place. Nothing... More

c% is located in Toronto in Th e Royal Ontario Museum, a world famous institution. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the new, all crystal addition that has just recently been added to the museum which generated much controversy I might add. Nonetheless regardless of what you may think of the addition, there is no disagreement about... More

We've come here many times and although the food is of high quality & lovely presented, it may not be to everyone's taste. Consequently, we avoid the regular menu & only come for the afternoon tea which has always been delicious to all of our party. It's a modern take to the normal sandwiches & pastries traditionally served in a... More

The papardelle was so salty that is was almost not edible and the shrimp salad was also very bland. The prix fixe menu was the same price as ordering the exact same dishes a la carte (what is the point of a second "prix fixe" menu?) and may have been slightly more expensive! The service was okay. I wouldn't go... More

Went here with my girlfriend for dinner. The restaurant has a very cool setting and decor. The CN tower in the distance and the city lights make for a cool place to eat. The food is also of high quality. Service is also efficient and attentive. Have come here a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. One of our... More

Had Sunday brunch here after visiting the ROM, and enjoyed being the only customer - so I certainly can't complain about the service! Classy modern interior looking out over an ugly, ill conceived "modern" garden. Food presentation was stylish, and the taste was fine - I had eggs and lobster Mexican style.

We went for Sunday brunch right at opening. Had the place all to ourselves for about 15 minutes. The dining room, inside the Michael Lee-Chin modern entrance at the Royal Ontario Museum, was beautiful. The menu choices all sounded delicious. We chose the pastries for our starter (good but go with the charceutrie plate instead), for mains we had the... More

Left restaurant tonight feeling totally ripped off. Meal was terrible - I don't have a problem paying for an expensive meal when it's tasty but this was awful. Service wasn't very good either.
