Description: We are pleased to announce that renovations of our restaurant are now complete! Join us at our newly refreshed restaurant for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch. Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill, Bayview Village is the first of O&B's casual dining restaurants created by renowned restaurateurs Peter Oliver and Michael Bonacini. This large urban space feels very downtown despite its North Toronto location. A gleaming open kitchen extends into the airy dining room, featuring washed tin ceilings, leather banquettes and dramatic and distinctive light fixtures. The menu offers something for everyone, including fresh, made-from-scratch soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and fire-roasted pizzas. Menu favourites include B.C. albacore tuna tataki, tempura rock shrimp, lamb shepherd’s pie, pan-seared Ontario pickerel and O&B’s legendary macaroni and cheese.

You would not expect such a great spot located inside a mall but I was wrong. We made reservations for 9 people for our sons birthday party (adults) and arrived with 10. Within seconds they had us rearranged and seated despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and with a line up out the door! Our server was seamless... More

The décor of the restaurant is quite interesting and the food is pretty good. I had the fish tacos which were excellent. Service was okay. My biggest complaint was the noise level - you could hardly hear yourself speak - and this was when the restaurant was half empty. Overall, not a bad choice for lunch.

A few years ago our dining experience was not too good, so we did not return....until now. Our family held a party in the private room and the food and service was excellent. The staff were terrific and helped make the event a great success. The restaurant irself was busy and trendy and is clearly a popular local restaurant.

Service is fine. The food is not very interesting. Satisfactory for a quick lunch...lots of salads and pasta, the standard selection.

I love the atmosphere. Servers are really well trained and they really care about your experience. Food is also pretty good for its value.

The food we had was really good, service was quick and it wasn't expensive for the quality of food and service.

My husband and I frequent this restaurant quite a bit and usually enjoy it. However, on our last visit our experience was sadly just ok. We were seated and before the hostess could ask us if the seat she had brought us to was ok she had left to go back to the front and did not leave us with... More

I hope someone from O&B is reading this. I want to love this restaurant. For the last 10 years, it has been my go-to place; great location (central and perfect for meeting friends who live all over the GTA), professional service, easy-going atmosphere, etc. But the food is getting worse and worse! I had the Mulligatawny lobster soup (new to... More

IMHO, this restaurant is overrated. I came in for a late lunch. I have seen this restaurant during lunch hours and it is always busy. I ordered a Ravenswood Zinfandel, and the first thing I noticed that there was a small chip on my wine glass. I then ordered Tiger Shrimp and Bay Scallops Linguine. It was a decent portion,... More

A group of 5 of us went to O & B for lunch on a Friday. I ordered their broccoli and goat cheese quiche but was several minutes later told that they were sold out of it. This was quite surprising as it was only 1:00. I then ordered their spinach salad which was incredibly disappointing. A bowl of spinach... More
