Friday noon might not be the best time to go there without a reservation. We got in but after a 15 min wait. The restaurant is within meters from two other Indian buffet-style restaurants, so the competition is solid. This one had the best food out of the three. Best seats are the ones closer to the entry, the ones... More

I was staying across the street at the Hyatt and the concierge recommended Dhaba. I am glad that he did... really good Indian food, excellent service, clean and attractive facility. Really enjoyed the dining experience, totally. The only possible detractor-- the restaurant is located on the second floor; this could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

We really enjoyed our meal at Dhaba but the service was certainly the reason that we enjoyed our visit so much. "Mo" was attentive along with all the other friendly waiters. We had no less that 4 waiting on us. We started out by being offered a nice warm wet cloth to clean our hands, and then the menu was... More

This was a little place I wandered into for lunch by accident. Pretty good stuff as well the all you can eat lunchtime buffet had at least 30 choices from cold salads to hot curries. Everything was pretty fresh and there were some more unusual offerings like goat curry and some great vegetarian options. All in all great value but... More

I watched this restaurant on Restaurant Makeover and from the food descriptions I couldn't wait. I wish I had....... just average, generic Indian food. There is better to be had in Toronto, for more reasonable price.

I once went to Dhaba with a friend of mine on her birthday. The food was really good (I'm from South Asia. I know the cuisine really well, and it's not easy to fool someone like me). Unlike many places in Toronto, none of the dishes we ordered were sweetened to cater to North American taste bud. If the dish... More

I was staying in Toronto for a few days at One King West hotel and ordered a few Indian dishes for delivery. Everything was delish and warm when it got here. Had the butter chicken, rice, pakoras and garlic naan bread. All excellent. Portion size was generous. A little pricey but considering i have enough left overs for a second... More

Tried this as a first go to see what all the news/papers were talkign about. Ambiance is nice and was quiet when we were there. Only 2 of us, and table service was okay. Food came as ordered, although a lot spicier than asked for. Raita was asked for and came immediately which was good. Some 'interesting' twists on traditional... More
