Service was horrible. Food was thrown on our table then nobody ever came back to check on us despite the restaurant was not busy. Wanted to order more food but after waiting for 30 minutes decided it was better just not to wait. Getting the bill was also a pain, & we were never offered dessert or coffee. Had to... More

I took my Chinese parents to Grand and they enjoyed the relaxed and elegant atmosphere in addition to the cuisine - we don't mind paying the extra $ for a very civil environment. That was my second visit and will certainly return

Real convenient right inside the hotel I stay at. Eat there regular and they always deliver a very good meal that is hot and fresh.

If you're looking for the most divine Chinese food in toronto, then you must try this restaurant located in the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel beside the Toronto Airport (YYZ). PROS: 1) DIM SUM - delectable & sumptuous dim sum served daily until 3pm. Dim sum, is a traditional Chinese brunch always served with a fragrant tea of your choice. - Dishes... More

I visit Grand very often as it is my most favourite dim sum place in Toronto. Their steamed dumplings and buns are exceptional and are in par with some of the best dim sum places in Hong Kong. It's been written up by Chow Hound and the Globe and Mail. In particular I like the Cha sui bun ( steamed... More

The dim sum is exquisite. There is no other word to describe it. Well maybe I could use succulent, mouth-watering, delectable... I have been there 3 times and each time, it has been great. I always use har gow and sui mai as the limus test for any dim sum place - is the skin of the har gow delicate... More

We came for dimsum lunch and tried various dishes. The "Scallop dumpling" did not have SCALLOP inside. It's prepared with SHRIMP similar to the HA GAU that we already ordered. The waiter came and confirmed that the dish is "Scallop dumpling". I opened another one and shown him there's 90% Shrimp and a thin slice of Scallop. He insisted it's... More

Grand used to be my fav restaurant. The chinese pastry is flaky; the dimsum delectable and beautifully prepared. Ambience beautiful like for a wedding. Service depends who it is, the older gentleman has mood swings. We were there for New Years buffet, described as all you can order from a 20 dish selection. We ordered all, we got the mediocre...
