Excellent authentic neapolitan pizzas (in particular the margarita and marina pizzas). Appetisers like the calamari are good. Do not forget to try the desserts with the chocolate budino and vanilla afogato being the stand outs. Service could be improved as we found staff were not particularly attentive.

The pizza here, alhtough "over"hyped at this point in the restaurants history, is absolutely delicious. Anyone that says otherwise, in my opinion, is not being totally truthful. Both locations are great. Ossington - go to the tequila bar (Reposado) down the street while waiting for your table. Danforth - make a reservation. Top 5 pizza's in my opinion (and in... More

We thouroughly enjoyed out evening at the Libretto. The Pizzas are what you would call italian style. Thin, well cooked crust that has a nice bite to it when you dig in. I also appreciated that the pizzas are not oversauced but seem to find the perfect balance of tomatoey goodness, cheesey gooeness and toppings. We enjoyed the libretto, and... More

This place has a lot of hype and is being talked about quite a bit, which made me want to go. Finally went on the weekend and I can say I really enjoyed it but it is overhyped for what it is. It's pretty happening, as we had to wait 45 minutes to even get a table, which we expected... More

This place has a cool atmosphere because of the wood burning oven and no air conditioning (so you feel like you're in Italy). Food is very natural and lots of locally sourced ingredients. However, from a purely taste standpoint, you will get far better pizza at many other restaurants in Toronto. But I think it gets such good hype because... More

Enjoyed myself. Friendly staff and hostess. Clean open fun space. Sat at the bar and was treated royally. Pizza, mushroom, a little bland until the chilli sauce. Will come back but will try something different. Free water!

I've only been to the Ossington location, not the Danforth location. It's a busy sopt - but all I can say is that it's worth waiting for a table! This pizza is mouthwateringly good! If you love pizza - you must go and try the pizza at Pizzeria Libretto. So so soooooo delicious! I plan to go back again and... More

I had been to the Ossington location several times, but they don't take reservations. So since the new Danforth location takes reservations, we went there. Somehow, we ended up in the basement, which was dark, damp and smelt like washroom cleaning solvents. The starters are average. The fried gnocchi were like little packages of fried starch. The pizza's were good,... More

The pizza is very good but does not live up to the hype of being as good as any pizza on earth. The only downside here is the awful foody crowd that will surround you and be constantly taking photos of what they are eating so that they can post it on facebook.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian pizza, this is the right place! I have been in Canada for a few months and I was looking for a real pizza when some friends told me to try this one. they were right, the dough is perfect! Some pizza have ingredients that you wouldn't find in Italy, but it's delicious!The... More
