We recently booked one of the private rooms for a bachelorette dinner at Spice Route. During the planning stages Carrie was so helpful and made everything so much easier. We went with one of the set menus and I cannot say enough about the variety and quality of the food, it was fantastic! Our server, Danny, also made the night... More

You must try lamb chops. They are very delicious and worth every penny. Also, sushi was excellent. One of my friends was gluten free and he had expressed that to a server, even though they don't have a gluten/corn/soy free item on menu chef specifically made a dish for him. In addition, chef personally served that particular dish to my... More

I usually went there for a drink but this time we went for dinner. From the lounge area the restaurant looks fantastic, modern with eastern touch in it. The Sushi was good and I would definitely go there again. The patio looks awesome but it was a little chilly to seat outside.

We went there with friends and took advantage of the Thursday Sushi $1. I ordered 2 sushi dishes and they were very filling. Also ordered the Iced Tea with some alcohol in it... very nice, can't remember the name though. Overall rating 4 because one of our friend ordered a fish dish and he said the dish could have done... The bathrooms are really neat, I suggest you take a peak. The food was great, I had a dragon roll and sticky rice and was very satisfied. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. Overall we had a great experience at this location!

This is one of the best looking restaurant/lounge interiors in Toronto. Great space, multiple seating areas designed for large groups as well as couples. Beautiful hostesses, servers, bartenders. Good drinks. The food? Summed up in two words: Eat elsewhere. Not nearly as good as most greasy spoon Chinese diners with plastic tablecloths, or student area sushi bars. But much, much... More

Spice Route is a nice spot if you're looking for a high-end, older crowd, classy spot...where you can dress to impress, have a nice drink, enjoy the beautiful lounge scene and crowd, you could also enjoy an Asian snack. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a place to have a quite dinner or multiple course/ meal.

I went here with friends a few weeks ago and we were not disappointed. The servers were incredibly attentive and the menu had a very diverse range of options to choose from. On top of that, the atmosphere was unbeatable, very elegant and chic while at the same time being laid back and relaxing. I will definitely be returning!
