Food is always fabulous and menu changes often. Staff is very pleasant and ambience is jovial if a bit noisy.
My husband and I live in the area, and are frequent visitors to this fine restaurant. The incredible food is alwasy innovative, fresh, and simply delicious. We rarely go anywhere else for dinner since we've discovered Fraser Cafe - no other spots in Ottawa can compare in our opinion. Every time we have something to celebrate we know where we...

Liked the food. The service was slow. But couldn't argue with the food! The wait was worth it i guess. They'd get 5 stars if the fixed the service problem
Fraser Café has grown from a few tables to a well laid out restaurant with an open kitchen concept. The sounds and smells make for an exceptional ambiance.

Attended a friends birthday dinner. There were only 6 of us but we waited too long for everything. The food was great but the evening was a lot longer then it needed to be and it was a tiring rather then pleasant experience. Our waiter was very good so I would guess the problem is in the kitchen.

I loved everything about this dish and everything it came with just gobbled it all...

This was my second time there, and the initial "meh" impression was consistently reinforced. While the food is certainly enjoyable and fresh, the service was even worse this time around. To be fair, the first time, I took my staff there for dinner, so any oversights could have been due to the unfamiliarity our server had dealing with a table...

Restaurant is a remodeled house removed from downtown. Excellent food - not cheap but reasonably good value. Highly recommend.
