The service is great but the food is totally the opposite. The food is nothing like the food they serve at the restaurant in Kanata..... Dissappointed.

It was a warm spring day in Ottawa, and my son & I decided to stop for a "pint" and lunch. I have walked by this place every trip to Ottawa, but this time I decided to sit on their outdoor patio and give them a try. We had a very pleasant server who was able to answer any questions,...

You only have to go to D'Arcy's on St. Patrick's Day to know that they fully embrace their Irish roots! They have authentic Irish dishes along with some quality "pub fare" dishes, offering a great variety for all tastes. There is always an air of merriment and a sense of community in D'Arcy Magee's!
D'Arcy McGee's in Bell's Corners attached to the Days Inn Hotel is closed now. It's been replaced by The BREW Table.
If you are looking for a noisy, crowded place with a pub atmosphere, this place will work. Tables are close together and small, but do not despair...the noise level is so high, you won't be able to hear much of what your neighbours are discussing. Had the Steak and Mushroom Boxty (steak, mushrooms and gravy in a potato pancake). Very...

One of the oldest pubs in Ottawa. It is walking distance to Parliament, Byward Market and Canal. If you like tradition, this pub is a must. A great starting point for a tour or a smashing place to end your day.
We stopped in this afternoon and loved it... It was only 4pm and the place was quite busy.. Some of the tables are close together, but once we started eating the food, it didn't matter, it was SO GOOD. We ordered 3 starters, the Yukon Gold Stuffed Potatoe Skins, the Mini Yorkshire Puddings (Yummy!!!) and the Shrimp and Artichoke Dip...A...

Second time back in 2 years. Always a favorite. Great food, beer, service, and atmosphere. A fun time was had by all. Put it on your list for casual fare.
Don't be fooled if you are a traveller - this is not an authentic Irish pub. D'Arcy McGee's is a chain restaurant franchised by the same company who franchises East Side Marios, Casey's and Fionn MacCool's. The menu is wide ranging, and there are a lot of classic Irish dishes (again, keeping in mind most of it is going to...

The pub is attached to the Days Inn hotel where I was staying. There was a lineup to get in for dinner in the middle of the week. The staff put us on the list and called us in our room when a table was available. I tried the Guinness poutine and the lamb shank and both were excellent. The...
