“I walk out of my way to get a Bridgehead Latte”

I pass by two second cups and a Starbucks before I get to a bridgehead in the morning and I wouldn't have it any other way. The coffee is better. I was completely amazed by the number of overpriced items on the menu. And after trying a few of them, I can't say it's worth it. “Great fair-trade coffee, local business - puts Starbucks to shame.”

Tired of Starbucks? Me too. I was super happy when Bridgehead opened it's doors in downtown Ottawa. In the intervening years it's opened up in several locations around town. So superior to either the Second Cup franchises and the ever-present ever-corporate Starbucks.

“great tasting coffee”

Great Coffee, the concentration of it is visible in the taste. Never knew they had treats and those are yummy as well.

“Relaxing seating & delicious fair trade coffee”

Stopped here for a coffee and snack. Medium soya milk cafe au lait and a date square was under $6. Staff were friendly with the area tourists as well as the regulars.
