I've only ever stopped in here for a quick scone - and it is definitely worth it. It's their specialty for a reason. Located on a one-way street on Albert, it is a great choice for a quick breakfast at a reasonable price.

This small breakfast place was very "quaint" - small room in an old house but the scones are fabulous. We enjoyed the breakfast scone (filled with scrambled eggs, ham and cheese) and cranberry scones to go. Great food and coffee!

My boyfriend I make a point of heading off to Ottawa at least once a year so that we can enjoy these scones. We always bring back 3 - 4 dozen so that we can continue to enjoy them at home in Montreal. The best part is that you can buy uncooked ones and bake them yourself at home (they... More

Well done. I came to know of this place by accident. It was raining and it was nearby and we could see it from our hotel room. It was like a gift. The scones were the way scones should be. Soft fresh crumbly and when combined with scrambled eggs they were divine. The place has very limited seating and a... More

I love their scones. They are light and they have a variety for any diserning taste. They also have a few surprise items like yummy brownies. They are pricey, but a good treat!

Worth the bit of extra walking to get to this place- the soup of the day and scones are totally worth it. Even the day-olds (which get snapped up fast) are coveted items.

We dropped in on a Sunday morning thinking of a simple scone....we got far more than we hoped for...delicious. We had the scone brunch, scrambled eggs, orange-cranberry scones topped with a lovely mixture of fruit. A perfect start to the day. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I'd go again any day when in Ottawa. Don't miss it.
