Our friend ordered the soup of the day (tomato soup), and absolutely fell in love with it. We used it for dipping the garlic bread, and we could just had that for dinner and be happy. Meatball pasta was delicious as well. Pizza was not very good.

Enjoyed a nice meal & our Server Barry was one of the best
We ate here because of reviews that we had read online, and also because our hotel, the COUNTRY INN & SUITES guests were offered a 10% discount on meals. It is just steps away from this hotel, so the recommendation is a good fit.
Three of us had steaks, which were cooked perfectly. The fries were good, the veggies cooked...

It was very late when we came to Niagara and a lot of places were already closed. We found this place and it was first good find. The food was very tasty, I liked everything, even bread which we eat while waiting. Atmosphere very cosy, nice music, great waitress.

waitress was great, theresa was her name. but the food she served was blech. the patio is okay, buit alot of tourists and that is what the food is catered to. band was too loud and off tune, but the waitress made our night out good considering the rest was shambles.
We decided to visit this restaurant as it was close to where we stayed (Country Inn) and we were impressed by the quality of the staff, the food, the personal visit by the owner and the fair pricing. All in all, a very good establishment and we would consider eating there again.
Sandstone has a nice menu with plenty of choices. My husband had the fish and chips which have been mentioned as a specialty but the fish was greasy and the fries were not crisp. I had the veal parmesan, and was not expecting the green peppers in the sauce, since I don't like them. The waitress was friendly but not...
