We ate here one night during our stay in Whistler, after reading good reviews about it on Trip Advisor. It was a bit dissppointing after the amazing and cheap Japanese food we had experienced in Vancouver a few days earlier. The food here was ok, but for what you get it was over priced by what we saw in other... More

This place would not be in business if it was in Vancouver or even a less favorable location in Whistler. Sushi is 6 out of 10 and the wait staff a 5 out of 10.

I have only been to Sushi Village when they have the $21 special on with the $10 jugs of Margarita and I enjoyed the food and drinks thoroughly. With the special it was great value for money and the food is delicious.

Not fancy but the food excellent ... Seaweed salad superb - we are from the East Coast so know seaweed ;) The sushi was amazing ... crunchy mango, spicy tuna with avocado, salmon/shrimp/scallop roll, and veggie roll. Not all in one sitting mind you ... It was so good we went back for a second meal. Bonus - one of... More

Three for dinner. Told we must wait for 30 minutes so we had the customary Caesars and sure enough we were seated in under half hour. Extensive menu which seemed daunting for just 3 of us, so our waitress offered to select our menu, based on a few questions and a gauge of how hungry we were. We we blown... More

Really good sushi no wonder people were lining up well before it opened! no reservations. Ask you server what he recommends or is their favorite. We got best roll ever.

We were recommended this restaurant and the service did not disappoint , many staff making sure we were all attended to (we have 3 kids 12,10 and 7) but the food was average on both visits. The first visit was in the evening we had 3 rolls, 2 different gyoza, miso soup teryaki chicken. All fine but certainly not outstanding... More

Let me start this review by saying that you better be prepared to wait from 30 mins to 60 mins for a table after seven. Having said that the wait is worth it, we had sushi, fried soft shell crab, soup, sashimi, rolls and more. All the food was really good, the service was great and the place had a... More

Hard to fault Sushi Village in anything at all. Get there early (before they open at 5:30pm) if you want to avoid a wait as they don't take bookings for groups less than 6 people. They don't have to as this place is packed out as it's that good. We go at 5:15pm which usually guaranteed we'd be at the... More
