This is a little gem just outside of the village that is well worth visiting. Really good, fresh, quality food and generous portions. Pretty good wine selection as well. The Chef/Owner is a real treat too. Service can be hit or miss but I put that down to the transient workforce in the resort. Not unusual.

After 3 years of coming to Whistler to ski, we finally discovered Le Gros. Pasquel made our experience special with his personal touch of welcoming us to his restaurant. Justin was attentive too. But what made it really special was the menu. I could hardly choose which to order. The Weiner schnitzel was great as was the mushroom soup. We... More

While skiing at Whistler we dined at Les Gros Restaurant, and what a fabulous experience in every way. The food was the best I have had in a long, long time. I had the salmon in cruet, and shrimp bisque - Wow! The owner, Pasquel, is French and knows what he is doing. He comes to your table and makes... More

Some years ago there were two owners; now it's just Pascal, but the food and the atmosphere are still wonderful. This is a place the locals go to, a few miles down the road from the Whistler Village, on a turnoff past Creekside. You park and climb a few stairs and you're at a pleasant homey place with snow all... More

We've eaten at most of the better restaurants in Whistler over the years, and Les Gros is near the top. Quiet setting, great food, full bar, good wine list, romantic. We've been there enough to know that it is always good - and the prices are very fair. I love their Rack of Lamb! On the edge of town, but... More

Great food -rich as French food is and great menu selection with some very different items. Good wine selection. Very peaceful after too many very noisy restaurants

This was our second visit to Les Gros and the food was delicious again. Even more important on this visit was the service and accommodation. Unfortunately I tore my Acl the day we had our reservation and was not feeling up to going out. Upon calling to change dates, the owner/chef was very accommodating in changing our reservation. Having been... More

Le Gros. Ate here recently with my family (2 adults, 2 kids). Excellent service and warm and cosy intimate restaurant. We ordered from kids menu and specials for the evening and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. If we had any complaints it was that the portions were too large. The steaks given to the children were sufficient size... More

We went to Le Gros ( formally Les Deux Gros ) in Whistler BC the other night. What a wonderful evening. We were seated in the room near the fireplace, a lovely atmosphere after a day of skiing. We began our evening with a bottle of a bubbly Boudreaux recommended by the owner himself, delicious!! We started our evening with... More

Based on a few recommendations, we wanted to try this French restaurant. The first confusion we had was the name - not on Tripadvisor. There was a special menu in addition to the printed menu.and we ordered from the special menu; as we had experience in France, chef introduces specials to showcase his brilliance for a short period of time....
