Great Italian food. Moderate prices. Nice atmosphere, clean.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a romantic setting. Tables are far enough apart for an inimate conversation. The staff were friendly and attentive. The starters were delicious, especially the mediterannean bread. The main courses, however, had mixed reviews - some of us loved ours, others were disappointed. I found the food to be a bit of a mish-mash,... More
The menu is heavily loaded with cream and dairy items. Not much for the vegan or vegetarian here. The service was exceptional. Overall dining time was fast, not rushed and comfortable to enjoy the dining experience and still get to the theatre on time.
Wow!!!!! If you want an amazing dinner, go to the Intermezzo in Vernon. I had melt in your mouth Ahi Tuna. It was incredible! The meals were not only amazing in taste, but were an actual peice of art. Chef Lacey Donald is truly a talented chef and Vernon is very fortunate to have her.

Hubby had the beef teriyaki, nice flavor but way, way too... More
I have been to Intermezzo many times over more than 10 years. There are very few places in the Valley meet or surpass this restaurant in service, food and atmosphere as well as general cleanliness. If you want a nice quiet place to enjoy exceptional food this is the place.
The menu is quite varied. They have more than just Italian food. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic.
Intermezzo is hidden on a side street downtown, off the beaten path. It is for this reason that I never got around to dining there until recently. It did not disappoint. Very intimate, great for a date or special dinner. Great, attentive service. Good menu, I thought I bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the most part.... More
One of the things that really stands out about our visit to this restaurant was the personable service I observed to all tables, not just ours. My father and stepmom are regulars and took us there once before. Again we found the menu to be quite varied and eclectic, not your average "Italian" restaurant. Wonderful choices and blendings of flavours... More
