And this hold true here, they have a great deck and mediocre food at best. There are plenty of great spots to eat, this is not one of them.
We sat in the dining room and ordered from their pricey À la carte menu, expecting a wonderful experience to match the wonderful view. We were not greeted for over 10 minutes - odd as there was only 3 other groups in the entire restaurant. The wife ordered the Lamb (asked for it medium rare) and it came well done.... More
My brother and I walked around and stumbled on this place during an intense fog. We had their special for the week and were both pleasantly surpised. I would like to see this place when there wasn't any fog.
Great experience in summer when the deck is open; not so much for the rest of the year. The food is decent but pricey, the servers are competent, but not great and the restaurant overall is getting a bit tired.
After arriving by ferry boat and exploring Granville Island, it was time for lunch and wine! We wanted outdoor seating and Bridges looked perfect. Our party of four was seated promptly on the large outdoor patio, right by the water. In fact, a very large & friendly sea gull kept us company! We enjoyed watching the paddle boarders and boating... I attended a sponsored dinner here so our menu was limited to halibut or beef tenderloin but either way, you couldn't go wrong with whatever you chose. They have an excellent selection of wines, which are all very good. Their service was excellent and exactly what I expected for a high-end restaurant.
Overall this was an average pick for food. We sat outside and really like this. Lots to look and talk about. I will say service is not great and average. The food was good but was pricey for what you get. If we were in the area I don't think we would eat here again.
Took some very important out of town clients to sit on the upstairs patio. Service was over friendly but tolerable, until my client asked for the saffron rice with his choice of meat. "Sorry, we don't mix 'n match" was the reply. Seriously? $34 for lamb and you can't get rice? We weren't implying that they were Sleep Country on... More
Good morning, Thank you for your recent review and for selecting Bridges to take your clients to. We apologize that you were not given more options when it came to customizing your dish. This is definitely something we are able to do and this was a server error. Our team has been briefed on your experience so this is to... More
Overall, this was a good pick. I had the crab and halibut sandwich. It was “good”. My husband had the fish and chips which were very good. I don’t want to downplay the food because it is good, but you really go here for the view. You can watch stand-up paddleboarders, seals, boats, birds, etc. as you dine. The deck... More
We had our first meal here in Vancouver, just sat under the sun and it began to rain soon after. The waiter was a very friendly , nice guy who made us feel comfortable after a long journey. It's a good place to sit and look around. The food is expensive for the quality, you pay for the atmosphere. But... More
