You can't drive to the River Café, as it is on Princes Island, so you must stroll over the bridge from Eau Claire. The venue is quaint and the menu is exotic. A little bit of everything, for every taste. Especially like the wild game theme they feature annually.

Haven't been here for a few years. Nice to revisit. Location is fantastic and beautiful. The good is very good albeit somewhat expensive service is excellent. For a lovely night out with a partner this is a place to go.

The River Cafe has been consistent over the years in it's creativity and quality. From time to time there are bumps in the service but overall it is always a good experience. The menu is always creative, the food and presentation always excellent, and the decor is like none other in the city

I have eaten here numerous times for work lunches as well as personal events. The food is always good, but the best part is the patio. An absolute must. You're in the heart of Calgary but on the patio overlooking the river and trees you feel like you're a million miles from any city. It's wonderful.
