It's worth trying at least once. You'll either love it or thing it's just okay. It's different, but can be very good based on what you order. If you get there late, be prepared to wait. It can get busy.

Aside from the awkward location (IMO) this is a great place to have breakfast on the weekend. The place is very unique as there is nothing else like this in Calgary. The food was delicious and we will definetly go there on another weekend.
I absolutely love the Pannenkoek Haus...was introduced about 2 years ago and have been back MANY times since! The food is exceptional, which is why there is always a bit of a wait on weekends. But trust me: the wait is worth it. I get the same thing every time (savory pancake with bacon, cheese, onion & potato & extra...

This is our family's favorite restaurant. With so many other choices in town, that is saying something. We've been going there for over ten years now.
I say "well worth the price" because I find that this isn't a cheap meal- $15 to $20 per person including tax & tip for one large pannenkoek & a beer or a soda-...

This place is in my regular rotation of breakfast spots. It's tucked away and a bit shabby-looking, but the panenkoek (authentic Dutch pancakes) are wonderful. Lots of different options for fillings/toppings, something to please everyone.
The food was plentiful but really salty and sickening once you got to the end. Maybe if you don't get the meatlovers it may be alright. The service was great but the restaurant was dated and could use some remodelling. It was loud and catered to mostly families, not a bad place to have breakfast but arrive early as it...

Since moving to Calgary, we were hoping to find a really good "pancake" restaurant. Was very pleased to find a pannekoeken haus. Read the reviews and decided to make the trip out there. I will totally ignore the negative reviews as we were NOT disappointed. Service was quick and attentive, loved the added ginger cookie with our coffee. Ordered a...

Love this place! Went to high school right beside the Pannenkoek Haus and ate there almost daily.
Serves up sweet or savory pancakes. Huge portion the size or a large pizza and boasts more toppings than most places in town.
Service is always amazing with friendly staff eager to suggest something but will always remember your favorites. Lots on unique...

Delicious simple pancakes- order savory or sweet and you will not be disappointed. Place gets crowded at times so be prepared to wait or call ahead and put your name on the list. Is not a place for a romantic dinner but is a place for delicious food! Service can be slow so be prepared.
There are indeed lines out the door to eat here. In fact we waited for 30 minutes this morning without anybody even acknowledging our presence. There were 6 or 7 tables empty and the hostess spent all her time on the phone. (Supposedly calling people who were on the waiting list). The manager came by and asked that people please...
