I wanted to try a stone oven pizzeria closer to home than Famoso in Mission or Pulcinella in Kensington. Though the toppings on my pizza, funghi, truffle oil and prosciutto, were awesome amazing, the restaurant overall lacks class and pizazz and the dough was basic. We tried the Toscana Grill after word of mouth reviews that talked of the good food here. We were concerned as often Italian resturants can be overpriced, not the case here. My family and I have gone to Toscana Italian Grill twice since it opened this year. Both times we were greeted by friendly, genuine staff.
