What a wonderful find. This is a very small restaurant in a log cabin. Every dish we had was very creative, and while not every element was executed perfectly, the imagination and the attention to excellent ingredients made this the best meal for the money we have eaten in Alberta. Service is friendly and attentive. Given that it’s less than... More

We found this place on Trip Advisor...and of course we went on the past reviews (glad we did). The place is extremely cute and cozy. I would suggest making reservations as it is quite small-which makes it all the better. It is truly a Canadian experience with the marinated Bison ribs for $35 or the rabbit two ways for $34.... We had a very good meal experience here recently, while spending a weekend in Lake Louise. Very good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, with log walls and carved wooden bears peeking in the windows. The service fits the atmosphere, quite casual but friendly and efficient. The food itself had interesting combinations of flavors, with attractive presentation.... More

Tucked 11 km east of lake Louise, this restaurant was amazing! The bistro is quaint and cozy, with a romantic atmosphere. The service was good, and the food is truly delicious, well prepared and all our dishes were better than expected. We especially loved the artisan salad! The appetizers were priced around $10, and entrees averaged $30. A definite must-do!

After following the Tripadvisor reviews it convinced me to visit the Baker Creek Bistro....chef Shelley Robinson did not disappoint. As soon as I walked intdo the Bistro I was greeted by very friendly staff. I sat by a cozy roaring fire...very romantic! The service was fantastic, the dinner was a "mouth watering experience" and unbelieveable value. I've travelled the world... More

Excelent food & service very good value Even for those who stay in Banff - batter to drive down to Baker Creek Bistro, than to waist your money on town's restaurants. It takes arround half an hour of scenic drive to get there - and it worth it.

Thanks to trip advisor ! After reading your reviews and checking out the restaurant's website we were sold. The area is spectacular! Beautiful cabin, romantic feel! Fireplaces lit up, the campfire smell greets you as you enter. We just loved it! We took our drinks and sat by the fireplace to start. The food was incredible! I had the striplion... More

We found this place by accident the morning we were leaving Lake Louise. I had read the reviews and wanted to try it, but never figured out the location. Their breakfasts were amazing and the ambience is lovely. I'll definitely return next time we're in the area.

The Baker creek bistro is attached to the Baker Creek Mountain resort, but isn't actually part of it, it's independantly owned and operated. We ate here twice or dinner whlst staying at the Baker Creek, and had fantastic food both times. The roasted Scallops were proabably the best we've ever had! Meat, fish and veggie options all great. Didn't make it... More
