We went for dinner here on our first night in Lake Louise. We were hungry and it was connected to our hotel. The room was very cozy. There was a fire in the fireplace which was a nice mountain touch. The server eas very friendly and attentive.
The food is fine but not anything special. The burger was very salty....

We always like going to the Outpost for good food in a relaxing atmosphere. The soups are great, the pizza is good, and the burgers very good as well.
Love the casual, cozy atmosphere of this place. If you can get a sofa seat, great! If it's a sofa in front of the fireplace, even better! We visited the Outpost quite a few times while living in Banff and took visiting family and friends and were always dissapointed to see the menu or the specials never changed. The food...

She recommended the Outpost Pub and we...

We returned after 7 years, because I craved the pear cider served here. My husband's burger was really good, but the fries looked like soggy, frozen ones. The pizza that I ordered was too doughy and cheesy. The server was very friendly and we like the atmosphere. Not sure about going back, because of my food disappointed.
Nice spot Waitresses seemed cranky but not too bad I guess It was fairly busy but I thought it would of been a little more up scale
We came here based on our bus driver and the hotel's front desk's recommendations. We were not disappointed. My husband had the Outpost pizza and French Onion soup. I had the Hungarian goulash. All were very good, not what you would expect pub's food to be.
The service was amazing! The food was great! I would get rid of the tv's and add some music to the place. I would definitley going back!
The pub has a nice warm feel, and it feels like a pub, rather than a manufactured tourist pub you sometimes get in a resort.
We went on a Saturday evening, so it was busy, and the service wasn't brilliant. It was OK. My three friends had the special and they thought it was very good. I had the quesadilla...
