Always busy, Maple Leaf Restaurant is an excellent place for either casual or more formal dining. Last week I went there with my wife and had their Elk special which was very tasty, very tender and well portioned. The decor is very Canadian. Upscale but full of wood and excellent views of the busy downtown area.

A wonderful menu! Everything we had was delicious. Bison meatballs are delightful. Wild salmon was also great! If you're looking to try elk, they often have it on their menu. A bit pricey, but worth the splurge.

My husband and I went to The Maple leaf after hiking up Mount Sulpher, we did not have reservations, however we were quickly seated and did not have to wait. We were seated in a fairly secluded booth, the atmosphere is great, we loved the decor and our service was amazing. Our food was quick to arrive and absolutely delicious,... More

I suppose the food could be considered edible if you are hungry and desperate enough, but for the price the food has much to be desired. The restaurant atmosphere felt like a saloon in the west - which I suppose would have been fine if the food was at least good and not subpar. As for the service, there was... More

The interior is nice, staffs kind and food is acceptable. Overall, this is a nice dining place but I couldn't but cast doubts on the relative satisfaction of food for its price. Can find a budle of restaurants serving similar quality food with lower price.

This restaurant not only possesses a fantastic wine list but it also has unique dishes to pair with them. The Brome Lake duck is fantastic as is the Halibut and the Maple Salmon but after a great day of skiing, I highly recommend the Bison Stroganoff. It is hearty and rich but absolutely delicious. I have been there many times... More

My family of 4 and I really enjoyed the food as well as the service! We ordered elk tenderloin (which I'm not a big fan of because I'm a semi-vegetarian), lamb shanks, chicken with barley risotto, and my wild B.C. Salmon. I've tried the chicken and barley and my salmon and they're both really well cooked, cooked on the outside... More

We were at the Maple Leaf for the 4th time in the last two years. Again, it was a real pleasure. Our table of 4 had the two tier seafood appetizer, which was great again. The men had the Elk Tenderloin, which was fabulous! Seven ounces (so not huge, but satisfying) with a yummy gravy and great mashed potatoes. Not... More
