My husband and I were wondering the streets of Zacatecas and came across this wonderful oasis. I ordered the chix torta and my husband ordered the tamales ( green & red ) Both of our meals were not only fantastico, but they were also well priced and well portioned. We will visit again and recommend to all.

This restaurant was convenient as it was just across the street from our hotel. However, for the price and quality, I would eat elsewhere. Likes: location, the restaurant style. Dislikes: not a good value nor of real good quality.

The service was terrible. Our server, Anna, was rude and inefficient. She was the typical server who rushes around yet never gets anything done. I recall asking her why certain menu items had columns next to them, yet she couldn't bother to open her mouth to answer. Instead she nodded at the columns in the logo on the window. When... More

Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. This place is surviving on reputation alone. It is basically a Denny's with the sticky booths, filthy tables and rude help to go along with it. (my apologies to anyone who works at a Denny's).

The whole setting is quite nice. The food is nothing special really. Below average I would say. I guess one would come for the nice views of the cathedral and because the place is atmospheric.

Nice restaurant right beside the cathedral. Streetview tables provide good people watching. Food is good. We each ordered different dishes, with the quesadillas being the best choice.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This is a 50's type place which probably hasn't changed a bit since then. Lots of people, very popular, but more because of its location across street from Cathedral. We also thought that our breakfast was a bit pricey and nothing special. Our hotel's restaurant offered much better breakfasts for less (La Finca de... More

A picturesque cafeteria resembling the 1950's. Excellent food, magnificent location but a little bit pricey.

They say that if you go to Zacatecas and you don't visit this restaurant it is like you didn’t go to Zacatecas. This is totally false; this place is an old traditional cafeteria next to the cathedral. The service is great and the place is like a museum (they have paintings, old coffee machines, etc), but the food is not... More
