The crab mornay and John Dory were beautifully cooked. The service was good and the meal was reasonable
Top notch food, with lots of fresh fish on the menu. The window tables have a great view out to sea. The restaurant is part of the Seaview Tavern, which is a great place to stay..
Wonderful place great food got real veggie breakfast so rare when. I am away from home. Thanks to Michael for the brilliant talk about the area We will be back
Stopped off here for a quick lunchtime bite. Quirky public bar that doubles as a shop, nice bigger bar and a restaurant. Tasty lunch, friendly brisk service.Spectacular views too.
Really enjoyed our meal. The food was fresh, tasty & excellent value. I had crab for both starters & mains & I've never had fresher, meatier crab before. The desert was home made & luscious. The restaurant is a little dated but clean & comfortable. The review of the service is mixed as the older lady was charming & helpful... More
a little out of the way but well worth it for the delicious food, fresh seafood was delightfull. i had crab morney , the service was by local staff who could not be more helpful, very old but clean building with views that were magnificent, reasonably priced,
I went to this restaurant as part of a group of golfers playing Ballyliffen. The restaurant gives no hint of how delightful the food is. It overlooks the North Atlantic and the islands off Malin and it should be no surprise that it is far off the beaten track. I had a starter of chowder and followed it with crab's... More
If you're visiting Malin Head, make sure to eat at Seaview Tavern. The lovely staff help to ensure this place is warm and welcoming and the view is spectacular. It is the most northerly restaurant in Ireland and looks directly onto the North Atlantic. The food here is superb too. For our meal my partner had garlic bread with cheese... More
We stayed here the night before we set off on a charity cycle from Malin Head to Mizen Head. We arrived late in the evening after the restaurant had closed yet the staff still gave us a chance to order some much needed food. Didn't expect much of the room but it turned out to be extremely nice and spacious.... More
I was in a party of 20 that ate at the Tavern recently. It's a little out of the way but the views are spectacular and the food is of a high standard, as is the service. I had seafood chowder to start which was excellent - not too creamy. I then had sea bass with a parmesan and tarragon... More
