We happened to stumble upon this restaurant on the last day of our trip and frankly, this restaurant experience was one of the highlights of our trip.
Entertainment: We ordered drinks and waiter came out carrying the margarita glass on his head! I saw another waiter carrying 3 bottles of beer on his head walking up to another table. :)...

A few people at our resort told me about this place and raved about it. I ended up having to drag my husband and brother into the restaurant. It was my sons birthday so I wanted it to be an awesome night. We started with drinks...they were perfect...but even better and more entertaining for my 8yr old because they carry...

Took a couple's trip to the Riviera Maya in March with my husband, sister and her husband. None of us had ever been to Mexico before, so I purchased "The Explorer's Guide to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and the Riviera Maya: A Great Destination" by Joshua Eden Hinsdale (recommend this book to anyone new to traveling that area, it was...

I have traveled around the world and have eaten at many places. Ajua is the best fish and lobster that I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is excellent. My wife had the flambeau chicken and it was terrific. Try the Mayan sacrifice:) what an experience! I ate there twice during the week, it was so...

Recently visited this great little restaurant upon recommendation and so glad we did! First of all, insider tip: they have a cheap menu as well! The shrimp tacos were divine. Complimentary first round of drinks was great but even better was the server who brought them to us BALANCED ON THE TRAY ON HIS HEAD! Impressive! The quirky little pranks...

Located just off 5th ave this place is great. The food is excellent and the wait staff even moreso. Good for family and or friends.
This restaurant was wonderful- until we got our steak. It was way overcooked, tough and had no flavor. Not what you expect from a $60 steak. The waiter did end up comping our steak and our friends' steak which came out the same. That was really nice, they really tried to make us happy. Not sure if I would give...

We were concerned that this customer did not experience the quality that Ajua Maya has offered our clients for over 11 years. For our USA steaks, we only purchase Certifed Angus Beef imported from the USA by their only distributor in Mexico, including these Certified Angus Beef Porterhouses. We did save these two steaks and returned them to the supplier,...

expensive, but worth it....just off the beaten path of 5th avenue on 4th street....waiters carry your drinks on their head to your table, including a bottle of wine....flaming duck made right at your table, so is the 3 cheese pasta and the shrimp dish....really good music too (but not on Sundays).
New at this review thing, but sometimes things need to be said! This place ROCKS !!!! I have been going to this area for about 10 years now, I have tryed many food places, most in this area are just food trying to be original, but this place is the place!
