We went here specifically because we wanted to try lion fish. We had lion fish ceviche and it was great. We will return to the La Perlita next visit for the same dish!

The food was ok, but nothing to talk about. The waiters were not that friendly either. Felt like we were interrupting them.

We stopped here early one rainy evening and wow was it good! The menu was in Spanish but our server was wonderful in helping us choose our meals. The shrimp tacos were to die for! My friend had some sort of stuffed fish with a yummy cream sauce and I had "fried fish." I thought I was going to get... More

I had the red snapper fresh fish, it was excellent and worth the 60 Pesos round trip to get there. Prices were less than the tourist fish places for larger fish. Yes, I would and did go back as this was my second time since 2006. If you want go portions of really good fresh fish then go there and... More

If you are looking for fresh fish caught daily by their own fishing crew, the La perlita is the place. Their Margarita's have a great kick too!....Check out their daily "Catch of the Day" A whole fish that can be baked, grilled, or fried. Fresh tortillas, Guac, and a green habanero sauce that is hot, but most can put it... More

Like my title says, because this place is a long way out of the central business district, only locals and divers are aware of it, but is soooo worth the cab fare to get there and back. It's extremely casual and the decor is best summed up by "Gilligan's Island". The seafood is fresh and amazing. We ordered fish for... More

This is always the place we go for the best and freshest seafood in Cozumel. They show us the fish before it is cooked so we can see it is fresh and just caught. The people here are wonderful.
