Everything on the menu is great. from the spaghetti to the chicken to the filet mignon. It is all you would expect, plus beautifully presented with some extra touch. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. Drinks and wine are good. Desserts are extraordinary, plus beautifully decorated. Again, a part of our regular itinerary where we dine at least twice a vacation.

I took my wife to La Cocay on my recent stay and the food was excellent. She had a tuna entrée and I had the fish of the day and they were both very good. It is a romantic setting and the folks there try very hard to make it a special evening. Would definitely visit here again.

LaCocay is a fabulous little hidden treasure in downtown Cozumel. Owner Kathy King and her staff are amazing. Excellent Mediterranean food served in eye popping style. Beautiful indoor/outdoor setting with superb service. We took a party of 14 and our reservation was handled with precision and amazing accuracy! We all loved the delicious food and were able to "taste" many... More

La Cocay is a Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant. We were expecting shish kabobs, hummus, and rice, but were very surprised with so much more! After the realization that Italy is in the “Mediterranean” area, we were pleased with the menu choices that were leaning towards more of an Italian fare! Our reservations were at 7:30, and when we arrived, we were... More

All was perfect! Nice ambiente, very kind and attentive waiters, very talented chefs. The food was delicious and it was very hard to choose because all was very yummy! It's a must in Cozumel!

Second visit but hopefully not our last. Love the food and the ambiance. We went in the early evening. We both agreed that it might be fun to order a bunch of tapas, one of their salads and desserts next time we visit, instead of an entree.

La Cocay (the Firefly) is tucked into a corner off the main drag, a quiet and lovely place with a pretty dining area inside and a really lovely setting in the courtyard outside. The owner is a lovely woman who has owned this place in two locations and who cares about the food and ambiance and comfort of her customers.... More

We try to go here each visit. This trip we were fortunate enough to eat here twice. Both times all our entrées were fantastic. Artfully decorated plates highlight the properly prepared dishes. Cathy is there to insure all is going smooth. There is also a nice wine selection. Don't forget dessert if only to see the magnificently decorated plates. The kitchen... More

This is my favorite restaurant by far in Cozumel. Firecracker duck is amazing as well as just about all of the other appetizer items. Stuffed chicken is also very good. We make a point to always visit this place when we vacation on the island.

Yet another hidden gem in Cozumel. Off the beaten path but worth the walk. A small menu but a lot of creativity goes into each dish and we appreciated it!
