Our hotel concierge recommended us this place. We went there for lunch twice. We had shrimp tacos and shrimp cocktail, both delicious. I tried magarita tamarindo, it was very good as well. Only a short walk from La Isla mall.

We have visited this taco shop the last two years and were drawn back 5 times. The Cameron camoronninas cheesy shrimp tacos are amazing. Atmosphere is simple but cute with luche libre masks and Mexican art. If you like great seafood or other meat tacos, you should definitly eat here. It is awesome and beats the outback, bubba gumps or... More

Literally sandwiched between a car rental place and smoe sort of healthcare place (I think) but it was once of the best seafood places we tried over the years of going to Cancun. The Cazuela al Ajillo was good enough that we ended up drinking the juices at the bottom, and the seafood tacos (any of them) were top notch.... More

Santos Mariscos is a very cool hole in the wall restaurant. This was recommended to us by a local and was a refuge from the touristy Cancun themed restaurants. I loved their jicama tostada and ceviche. Their homage to the Mexican masked wrestler, Santos, was hilarious!

THE place where the locals go - and you should too. We read about this place in our Fodor's book on Cancun and decided to try it out. First of all, it's by FAR the cheapest place to eat in the hotel zone, and it's really delicious. We got the shrimp tacos and they were awesome (they bring out 7... More

Truly a hole in the wall with decor to match, just feet away from the traffic on Kukulkan. No explanation of the sauces plunked down on our table. I don't think our waiter spoke or understood Enlish. My cazuela was good, but I couldn't wait to get out of there!

Good grilled shrimp tacos. Yummy tamarind margarita. Had one at lunch and found myself back that night for a "nightcap". Fun decor. Nice staff.

We stumbled upon this place and were glad that we did. It was pretty inexpensive, but the portions were generous and the food was very good
