We were in Cancun at an all-inclusive (RIU Palace) and still paid to eat here. I had medium rare tenderloin and my dining companions each had medium rare ribeyes. The steaks were perfectly prepared and tasted top-notch. You still get the multiple waitor experience of a fine dining establishment and can see that everyone here seems to want to be... More

Waiter insisting on us ordering wine, after repeatedly refusing , he finally backed down. But he forcefully insisted on the lamb which we finally accepted . Most disgusting lamb ever, it doesn't takes a connoisseur to understand what lamb should not taste like.

My husband and I discovered El Combalache during our first trip to Cancun and make it a point to visit each time we go back. The salads are rather large and are perfect for sharing. The steaks are amongst the best we've had. Don't fill up on appetizers or you'll never be able to finish your steak. Waitstaff is very... More

The 14oz Tenderloin I ordered was cooked to perfection! Be aware that if you're not a heavy eater, order less or be prepared to take home leftovers! The wait staff was very attentive to our needs as well as others in the restaurant. We were thoroughly impressed!

This has been one of our "go-to" places for years. We were so upset with the lower quality and preparation of the meat, that we may not return. Oh sure, the tableside Ceasar salad is still maybe the best, the soufle' potatoes are a real treat, and the drinks are top-shelf, but this place should be carried by the steaks,... More

Was somewhat dissappointed with the steak, ordered two steaks one rare and one medium rare and they were both cooked significantly more than requested. cappachio appy was good, my wife had lamb which was ok but very fatty (and she eats lamb a lot)
