I was excited to find that Habaneros was only half a kilometer from our hotel. We have been here a week and have eaten at Habaneros twice - once for lunch and once for breakfast. We tried this place after reading all the reviews before we left & weren't disappointed. The Panuchos were our favorite along with the pickled onions & different salsas. Be careful for the really HOT ONE!! Can't wait to go back for more.

If you're looking for a quick lunch spot, head to Habaneros. Fed a hungry party of 6 for less than $40USD including drinks. Run by a father and son. Food is simple but delicious. Guacamole was the best guac we've ever had! The panuchos and tortas are highly recommended.

The visit to Habaneros was such a treat. Incredible local cuisine served by the most charismatic owner. Cancun is filled with lots of fine dining and large establishments but my husband and I prefer the local joints. It was a bit of a challenge to find in Cancun...especially in the hotel zone.
