There are multiple locations for Casa De Toño throughout the DF, and they're all great! Come hungry as are the portions are huge. Remember, Gringos - this is REAL Mexican food, so get ready for incredible Posole, Tacos El Pastor and Enchiladas Suizas!!

La Casa de Tono is a charming place with great, traditional Mexican food at extremely reasonable prices. The Pozole is their signature dish, and deservedly so, but everything I've had from their menu is delicious. They make wonderful salsas too, and if you like flan, by all means don't miss out on theirs! The service is friendly and attentive and... More

Good, Nice looking and Cheap. They serve one of the pozoles in town, you just have to select your size, drinks and you are ready to eat. Even though they serve more than just Pozole, it is its signature dish.

This place is not relaxing, but it is definitely worth visiting. I used to live down the street from the one located in front of Parque Delta. We used to go late-night after concerts. It's good, and the salsa is great! The food is a very reasonable price, and it's up pretty quick even if it's crowded. You can order... More

This is a chain of restaurants dotted around Mexico City. They specialise in good down-to-earth Mexican food such as pozole and flautas. When we went there was not a non-Mexican in sight, except me, and the menu is in Spanish. Pozole is a broth consisting typically of shredded pork and cacahuazintle corn grains, garnished with shredded lettuce, radishes and oregano.... More

My brother has suggested that I should have called my blog "Mexico City: One Taco At A Time." Now, there's a modicum of truth to his keen observation. Therefore, today, I broke with my apparent pattern and went in search of the best bowl of pozole in town. And, I believe I found it. There are many good pozolerias to... More

All I can say. Its The food a Mexican grandma would give their Mexican grandchildren. It was excellent. Try the 4 types if hot chilly sauce if you can.
