We just stopped here for appetizers and had the salad with the Serrano ham that was wonderful. The chef takes pride in his garden. He was watering by hand the entire length of our stay.

We went here for a late Sunday lunch. Extensive menu only in Spanish, which challenged us, but they had one waiter with good English who came to our aid. The three of us started by sharing the empanadas with cheese and smoked marlin, which were fantastic. We then shared the salad of roasted vegetables, which was tasty with a lovely...

This was our first dining experience in Santiago. The restaurant is located in Bario Providencia, one of the more ritzy neighbourhoods. We ordered the fish carpaccio with soya caviar. It was heavenly. Then we shared a cheese plate which was also delicious even though we had to plead to get more bread. The wine pairing was perfect. For desert we...

I convinced the restaurant to do a 12-course tasting menu for me, even though usually you need at least a day or two notice. I basically told them to give me the dishes that they were most proud of, and pair it with beer or wine - whatever they felt was appropriate. 3 hours later, I emerged very full, and...

A lovely setting and very attentive staff. It can be quiet at times, and is more expensive than other options, but it there are lots of interesting things on the menu

This garden restaurant can be walked to from downtown if you are used to the long grades that Gto. offers for intrepid pedestrians. If not, just take a cab to the door.
First glance brings you into an old hacienda which is pleasant enough. The menu will sound tasty, even though the price tags are on the steep side.

Our host tried to order red wine, we were told they were low on wine, they brought him, not a list, but four bottles of wine to choose from. The first bottle chosen...

The place IS beautiful, no argument there. The service was below average, and the entrees were flavorless, the sides terrible (vegetables were overcooked). Skip it! Go to Las Mercedes instead, no comparison at all!
