It has the best food there is in Guadalajara. Nice gourmet dishes. Fancy place. Although small. And it's not so expensive. Highly recommended.
Tipical seafodd restaurants in Guadalajara rely on seafood cocktails and tostadas plus grilled shrimp and fish (with bland accompaintments) for their menu. Paralelo 28 departs from that and have an interesting and imaginative seafood menu. My wife and I had lunch recently and everything was very good. We started with mussels in spicy tomato sauce italian style. Then, lobster tacos... More
I liked a lot the Menu with so much variety of Mexican wines and also the mixtures used in the cuisine to reflect a real international - fusion flavors. They only need to improve the service since I had to serve myself the whole bottle of wine, It is a little bit expensive even for the area. I don't see... More
The ambience in the restaurant is great, the food is a pity. Most of the ingredients are very good quality but the composition of the main dishes are very bad taste. We had an excellent lunch experience today at Paralelo 28, it will be a nice addition to our repertoire in Guadalajara. The service was attentive, the owner himself recommended some excellent dishes, such as the lobster tacos and a wonderful seafood soup, and also some wonderful fresh oysters on the shell with a mezcal mignonette. The hamachi and tuna tartare... More
Finally, a place in gdl with a relaxed modern atmosphere, a limited but well executed menu, a very good wine list, and fine service. Excellent crepes de chicarron, lobster raviolli, and well prepared fish all hit their mark.
I've been to this restaurant several times and I love every dish I've had. The spiced edamame they give you as a complementary appetizer is delicious and pretty addictive. I've had the catch of the day a few times and the Israeli couscous it comes with, with a sprinkling of green olives, is excellent. The tuna tartare starter is one... More
