Once a great restaurant but now living on the past. The old adage of "sell the sizzle" seems apropriate here. Lots of wait-service, typical of Mexican restaurants, but over-priced entrees take away from the experience. "Complementary" after diner liquors can't overcome the shortcomings of the meal. Used to be a great restaurant but her glory is of days gone bye.

We went to Las Mananitas for drinks then dinner. Once we entered, we were amazed by the lushness of the place. It's like you've been transported outside the city. The dining and bar areas surround a lawn lined with palms and trees, and there are peacocks strolling by and toucans and macaws in cages nearby. The service was outstanding- highly... More

I have been going to this restaurant at least once a year for about 7 years now. 7 years ago it was great, but sadly would not recommend it any more. The dishes are expensive and not always prepared well. They have overpriced their food and service. A nice place for an expensive drink and to enjoy the beautiful gardens.... More

Paradise hidden behind the walls. Be sure to have drinks here. I love to go early morning for chicken enchiladas breakfast. We stayed here twice and loved it. Peacocks everywhere. Remember Cuernavaca is the city of eternal spring. Our friends have a home here so we stay with them otherwise we would be here try it. We prefer the room... More

I'm a little on the price sensitive when traveling in Mexico. Especially when it comes to food. I rarely want to go full out and spend like I'm dining at a 4 star restaurant in the states. This is a personal preference. Just temper the review with that qualifier.
