Went here based on other reviews - they were spot on. If you like great food, served by friendly people in an authentic atmosphere - just go and you won't be disappointed. The tortilla soup is worth the hype and the fresh fish (which they even filet) was some of the best ever had. Thanks Melissa for the great meal.

The best little restaurant off the main strip. We try to enjoy family owned (small) restaurants while in PV and we found a winner. The food was fantastic. Great variety to choose from. Four of us were dining but we only needed to order 3 entrees. Good size portions and my husband enjoyed watching them cook his food!!

We discovered Melissa's last year, and reviewed them then. We are in PV now and have ate there twice on this trip. I believe they have even gotten better! I have had their shrimp with cheese and huitlacoche, and their shrimp cooked 3 ways...OMG, so delicious. Their margaritas are one of the best in PV. Generous portions, and reasonably priced.... More

Found this amazing little restaurant when we were in Puerto Vallarta in 2007. The delicious food was fresh and prepared with great appeal. The staff were very pleasant.
